First Circular(call for abstract)

GENERAL MESSAGE AND TOPICS
The Environmental health effects of Persistent Toxic Substances (PTS) have been caused great concern and are becoming a very hot scientific research issues during recent years. Focused on their long distance transportation, surface effects and mechanism, bioaccumulation and biomagnification, degradation and toxicology, a lot of new research results and achievements have been obtained by scientists worldwide. The “5th International Symposium on Persistent Toxic Substances” promises to be more exciting than the past events. It will offer more opportunities for participants to interact, exchange ideas and provide a platform for potential future collaborations among its participants. Prospective authors are invited to submit their abstracts on the following topic areas:
1) Emerging Chemical Contaminants
2) Heavy Metal Pollution and Element speciation
3) Regional PTS Pollution
4) PTS control technique and remediation

English will be the official language for the entire event.

REGISTRATION FEE
A regular of 200 US $ will be charged. For students, the registration fee is 100 US $.

TOURISM IN BEIJING
With its history of civilization long as over five thousand years and its very diverse topography and geology, China has not only many ancient wonders but also numerous colorful natural beauties. In particular, Beijing, the capital, the politics, culture and science center of China, is a city of long history and one of the focal areas of most fascinating tourist attractions in China. This meeting will organize one-day Great Wall tour or one-day Forbidden City-Temple of Heaven tour. For long distance travel within China, such as Beijing to Xi’an, is also possible. The organizing committee will help participators to contact with local travel agency.
