曹垒,博士,中国科学院生态环境研究中心研究员,中国科学院大学教授,博士生导师。“中国生物多样性监测与研究网络–鸟类多样性监测专项网”组长,“东亚-澳大利西亚迁徙路线伙伴关系技术委员会”顾问。长期致力于鸟类多样性监测,以及水鸟和湿地生态学、种群生态学、运动生态学研究。近年来,先后主持国家自然科学基金国际合作与交流项目、中国科学院-德国马普学会双边项目等20余项。在Nature、Nature Communications和Current Biology等国际重要期刊发表学术论文和著作100余篇(部)。2014年,应邀在第26届国际鸟类学大会上做大会邀请报告;2019年,应邀在英国鸟类年学会上做阿尔弗雷德 牛顿荣誉讲席报告;2021年,应邀在第20届中国生态学大会上做大会特邀报告;2023年,获英国鸟类学会戈德曼 萨尔温奖(101年来的第34位获奖者)。2024年,应邀在第8届国际生物遥测科学研讨会上做大会主题报告。
